Overview:
You will create two pages for a scrapbook featuring photos of you and your friends with captions written IN SPANISH underneath. Then you will give an oral presentation of your scrapbook, describing the people in the photos and telling what they like and don’t like to do. (me gusta ____, no me gusta ____). You have the option to make your scrapbook pages as a Google Slideshow, sharing the slideshow with Srt. Ellis at [email protected].
Materials:
Construction paper, photographs, magazines, colored pencils, markers, glue, scissors (or Google Slides)
Sequence:
Step 1. Review the instructions with your teacher.
Step 2. Submit a rough sketch of your scrapbook pages. Incorporate your teacher’s suggestions into your draft. Work with a partner and present your drafts to each other. (Due Monday, Oct. 19th)
Step 3: Do a layout on construction paper (or Google Slides).
Step 4: Submit a draft of your written captions in Spanish. (Due Tuesday, Nov. 10th)
Step 5: Complete your scrapbook and present it, in Spanish, to the class, describing the people in the photos and telling what they like and don’t like to do. (Final project & presentation Due Tuesday Nov. 17th)
Assessment:
Your teacher will use the rubric on the following page to assess your project.
