Students have been working to develop the four skills (listening, reading, writing and speaking) in Spanish and have made significant progress since the beginning of the school year! Give yourselves a pat on the back!
We have been working extensively with the following new vocabulary:
abre la puerta - he/she/it opens the door
cierra la puerta- he/she/it closes the door
nunca- never
son las (ocho)- it is (eight) o'clock
dice- he/she/it says
We have been storytelling with the vocabulary, and last week students illustrated the three scene of our main story. They are able to re-tell the story in Spanish, using their storyboard images as a guide. We will wrap up this unit next week by watching and discussing the video "Destino" ("Destiny).
